As one of the organizing team members from NTDEA, I had been involved in discussions and planning leading up to this event. Seeing the vision finally come to life - through meaningful conversations, shared footsteps, and genuine collaboration- was deeply rewarding. Nepal has long occupied a singular niche in the global travel market, leveraged by its "unique nature, cultural heritage, and diverse products." From the high-altitude theaters of the Himalayas to the contemplative silence of its spiritual heartlands, the nation remains a premier destination for global exploration. However, as the 2025 fiscal year concludes, the data suggests that while the sector has achieved a "strong recovery," the underlying economic narrative is shifting in unexpected ways. With a total visitor count of 1,162,365 in 2025 a 1.29% increase over 2024. Nepal is successfully rebuilding its volume.
