सिन्धुपाल्चोक जिल्लाको सदरमुकाम चौताराबाट उत्तर पशिचम जुगल गाँउपालिका  वडा ३ को करिब ४२०० मिटर उचाईमा रहेको यो तिर्थस्थल आज भन्दा अन्दाजी २३२५ वर्ष अगाडी प्रख्यात शिकारी वुम्वा रुवा वाइवा सिकार खेल्दै हाल पाँच पोखरी तिर्थ स्थल रहेको स्थान पुग्दा अचानक आफ्नो अगाडी धान खेति गरिरहेको देखे, यो के अचम्म हो यस्तो हिउ  पर्ने ठाँउमा पनि खेति गर्ने को होला भनि छेउमा जाँदा धान खेति गर्ने मध्येका लोग्ने मानिस (महादेव) ले शिकारी वुम्वा रुवा वाइवालाई देख्ने बितिकै सम्पूर्ण धान खेति गर्ने सम्पूर्ण खेताला यसै पाँच पोखरीको हाल मन्दिर रहेको स्थानमा अलप भएछन। यो द्र्ष्य देख्ने पहिलो व्यत्ति वुम्वा रुवा वाइवालाई यस्तो अचम्मको द्र्ष्य देख्दा अचम्म लागेको यो पक्कै पनि भगवान महादेव तथा महादेवका देवगण परिवारले रोपाई गरेको हुनुपर्छ भनि मैले भगवानको सम्झनामा मन्दिर स्थापना गर्नुपर्छ भन्ने सोची आफ्नो शिकारी कुकुरलाई लगाएको घण्ट फुकाली रोपाई गर्दा गर्दै अलप भएको ठाउमा झुन्दाई मन्दिरको स्थापना गरि फर्केे। यसै रोपाई गरेको स्थानमा धनको बाला खोज्ने क्रम हालसम्म पनि चलिआएको छ। यो धानको बाला भेटिएम धनवान् हुनेछ भन्ने भनाई आजसम्म पनि प्रचलित छ। धार्मिक किम्दंती आनुसार यस पाँच पोखरीमा एक जोडी हाँस रहेको र यो हाँसको द्र्ष्य जो कोहि भगमानीले  मात्र देख्न सक्दछन। पांचवाट पोखरीले घेरिएको यस तिर्थस्थलमा एक चिज वर मागे भगवानले पुर्याई दिने, किम्दंती आनुसार भाद्र महिनाको एकादशी देखि जनै पूर्णीमाको दिन सम्म टाढाबाट हजारोउ संख्यामा भक्त्तजनहरु आई तिर्थ गर्ने भएकोले  यो तिर्थस्थल जादै लोकप्रिय छ।

नेपाल सानो छ तर स्वर्ग छ
अल्प छ तर आँखो छ
छुट्टा छ तर आफैंमा विश्व छ

साच्चैं नै विश्वका सम्पूर्ण देशहरूमा पाइला टेक्न सफला होउँला!  यो  विविधताले भरिपूर्ण भूगोलमा बिलाउने सानो टुक्रा मुलुकलाई बुझ्न केवल एक यात्रामा काफि नहुन् सक्छ।  सिन्धुपाल्चोक जिल्लाको मेलम्ची बजारलाई छिचोल्दै, टिपेनी, धाप, भोताङ, नोस्याम हुदै पाँच पोखरीको पथ यात्रा गर्न सकिन्छ। मेरो पथ यात्राको सुरुवात भएको थियो ९ कातिक २०७५ बाट!! 

भौगोलिक विविधता परम्परागत तामाङ्ग जिवन शैली, ध्वजा झण्डा,  माने भन्ज्याङ, खोला, झरना, वनजङ्गल, वन्यजन्तु सँगै मुस्कुराउँदै हामीलाई नियाली रहेको जुगल हिमाल र दोर्जे लाक्पा हिमालका टाकुराहरु।  यस्तै प्रकारका प्रकृतिक सुन्दरताले भरिपूर्ण छ पाँच पोखरी पथ यात्रा र मुस्कान आङ्गीको लाखौंमा खरिद गर्न नसकिने मुस्कानहरु!! 

राजधानी शहरबाट केही घण्टाको दुरीमा विज्ञान र प्रविधिबाट कोसौ टाढा मुस्कानको गाउँघर छ। प्रविधि भन्दा टाढा पक्कै छ तर माया, ममता, स्नेह, आत्मियतामा कुनै कमि छैन उनिहरूको घर-आँगनमा। मुस्कान र डालिमाले मुस्कानको बदलामा मुसुक्क मुस्कुराउँदै मुस्कान नै फिर्ता गर्छन्।  सहरमा घण्टै-घण्ट मोबाइलमा समय बिताउने मोबाइल जेनेरेशन हामी थोरै समय मुस्कान र डालिमा सँग समय बेत्ति गर्दागर्दै कतै हामी स्वर्ग मै गएर अप्सराहरूसित गाएको, खेलेको, नाचेको अनुभव ३७०० मिटर माथि उनिहरूले दिलाए। मुरी-मुरी धन्यवाद नानीहरू। उनिहरूको जिवन देखेर प्रकुति दिनहुँ  डाह गर्दछिन् र त घनिष्ट साथी सम्झेर आफ्नो काखमा डुल्न, खेल्न, नाच्न, गाँउन दिन्छिन्। 

यात्रालाई पछाडी फर्केर हेर्दा यात्राको सम्झना लायक पलहरुमा नोस्याम पाटिका नानीहरू र खर्कको आले कै वरिपरि रुमलिन्छ पाँच पोखरी पथ यात्रा र बाटो बिराएर २०७२को भुकम्पले गएको पहिरोको बिर्सन नसकिने कठिन बाटोहरूको हिडाई। खोला छेउमा बनाएको कफि, चिउरा दालमोट, नुथला डाडाँको स्वादिष्ट ढिडो-आचार, हिउँ, मुनाल, यि नै हुन् पाँच पोखरी यात्राका यादहरु।

Panch Pokhari Treks

Panch Pokhari Trek is a trip to one of the remote area of Nepal where lies the five beautiful Pokhari (lakes). Panch Pokhari is situated in a wild nature in the north-east of Jugal Municipality Ward No. 3, Sindhupalchok, Nepal. The lake is located in a beautiful natural setting that’s why it has become a travel destination in the Nepali tourism industry.

Panch Pokhari is be located in the elevation of 4100 meters. Panch Pokari mean 5 holy ponds includes Surya Kunda, Bhairab Kunda, Ganesh Kunda, Sarswati Kunda and Parbati Kunda, and Hindus and Local Buddhist religiously respect the place. Panch pokhari trekking offers beautiful Himalayan view including the Jugal Himalayan range which includes Dorjee Lhakpa (6966m), Madiya (6257m) and Phurbi Chhyachu (6257m), Gauri shankar (7134m), Rolwaling Himalayan range, Langtang Himalaya range etc.

Nepal is a country rich in traditions and cultures. The forms of modern communication are quiet recent and new compared to other countries and before the introduction of these modern forms, there were traditional ways for communicating with the people and the masses. These were also practiced during the time of various kings and rules in Nepal. Some of the popular traditional forms of communication in Nepal are: 

Ghanti Bajaune, Jhyali pitane, Damaha  Bajaune 

are one of the oldest communications in practiced in Nepal, actually a form of mass communication in which a man beats a huge drum and call for the villagers to gather at the chowk. When everyone is gathered, the special announcement is made by another person who carries a letter and reads it out. It is usually done when an important announcement needs to be made.

Tago Gan (Big Bell)  is historical technology of communication with the people. This big bell is supported by two stone pillars and has a tiled roof.  King Rana  Bahadur Shah and his queen Raj Rajeswori built it in 1797. The bell is rung only when worship is being offered in Degutaleju.

Happy B'day Upa

Every single day of years bring happy birthday in my beautiful life that's why every moment I want to create a new story. My Mom and Dad always said me Babu don't miss everyday sunrise in morning and when walking as we step on foot forward, we lift the other foot up. In the same way, you should let go of yesterday and focus on today. 

June 11.1995, this day was leaving the beautiful World my Great-grandmother. My birthday day and great-grand mother died time came in lit bit  before-after that is June 13 is my birthday at the same time I brought the happiness in my family. But I always missed my Great-grand mother blessings. This day was special day for my lovely mummy (love you ma) because every mothers are happier just they listen her baby sounds chyahaa.  Also special for dad,  sister Chetana, mama-maiju, friends, relatives gave me good wishes from various angles and ways.  I couldn't miss two persons they're my Bahini Chetana and Sudip Dai. They always guided me gave a positive way of path, waves, inspired and kunwor family icon Mr Sudip Shamser Kunwor. I haven't described them thank Sudip Dai &Chetana. Yesterday my two friends came in my home,  they brought love,  prosperity,  positive messages, interact and they plus confident developed inside me thanks them. 

You know, I left 8398 days in my life. It's mean I earned at least 8398 an experiences in my wonderful life because I love my single day. This experiences decorated in mine museum. Today I'm going to begin 8399 day with some goals,  hope and confidence. 

Any day of week,  any time of year,  what do you think? I think i. e 

मातृ देवो भवः Regard your mother as Goddess. 

पितृ देवो भवः Regard your father as God.

गुरु देवो भवः Regard you teachers as God. 

अतिथि देवो भवः Regard your guest as God. 

I think regarding our parents as God is so important as they can be the guiding light in the dark path of our life.

Reminiscing Trips of Markhu-Chitlang

We love travelling together having been to many places. Our nation is blessed abundance with nature and it only takes a few hours to escape the town and step into scenic location. We had a leisure time final semester results waiting of bachelor degree. We all need refreshment in today’s busy and stressful life and hangout from city life. Considering overnight chatting, old bus parks meeting at 8 o’clock and planed of Bandipur such this thing, we was going to Bandipur this day but we left a bus at  Kalanki because we are gone hungry that’s why we went to tea house. We took a breakfast at the same time I saw Kulekhani bus in an opposite. After that my team an organized overnight trips to incredibly lovely, naturally enriched places: Markhu, Kulekhani. My team has been  trips Mr. Azeet, Mr. Miki and I.

We started our journey from Kalanki and directly headed towards Markhu, Kulekhani. Markhu is a small village at the top of Kulekhani reservoir and is a beautiful and peaceful place to be. A suspension bridge right above the kulekhani reservoir adds beauty and attractions to the people. You can walk through the bridge, take photos and have fun. We reached Markhu around 4:00 pm and from there on we decided to hike towards Bheda farm. It took us 15 minutes to walk uphill than touch Bheda farm. Bheda farm is Nepal’s first sheep/goat breeding farm, but it is the scenic location is captured in numerous Nepali songs and movies alike. But the expectation was overturned into discontent as we learned that due to growing pollution at the location, travelers were barred from visiting the area. I’m apologized because we went iconic Bheda Farm and took some pictures. From there we had seen the view of landscape, villages, pine forest, beautiful nature, and pasture area of Bheda farm as well as breathtaking view of massive Indrasarovar Lake so on.

Markhu has enhanced its reputation as a picnic site among travelers as the magnificent view of the river coupled with thatched huts as restaurant resemble an ideal afternoon on a holiday. After that, we went to the suspension bridge over Indrasarovar. It was very relaxing. My heart filled with joy, peace and serenity. We checked-in our lodge ‘River Cross’ and took rest. Then, we visited to lake side and awestruck and energized by the amazing views of the lake. We had the bonfire at the evening time, listen songs, and discussion different topic gossip.

I woke up early morning with chirping of birds and a mesmerizing view of Markhu village greeting us. After having a breakfast we checked-out from lodge. We headed towards boating in the massive Indrasarovar Lake at Markhu. After boating, around 8:00 am we started our trekking/ hiking from Markhu-Chitlang-Chandragiri-Thanakot. Then, we started enjoying our walk in nature and village. We were worried about hiking whether it would be successful or not but it turned out to be adventurous. We sang songs, cracked jokes all the way. Along this routes we touched with natural air, waterfall sound, pine forest, rhododendron, natural flowers so on.  We reached Chitlang and took a delicious lunch of locally prepared at tea-house. After lunch we headed towards the Chitlang to experience the various landmarks. Given that the Chitlang village is backed by numerous years of history and culture. One of the historical landmarks is Ahsoka Chaita and another place is Saatdhara. Since it rained lightly at same time, the road condition of Chitlang was getting worse. We could not visiting Goat Cheese Factory. I missed the surreal taste and smell of cheese from this center.   

After restarted our hiking because our destination is not Chitlang we’ll reach Thanakot. Markhu- Chitlang- Thanakot trails is freshness of air along those routes not a season is the blooming rhododendron but we saw blooming rhododendron attracted us and I wished this hiking would never end. We used short trails in forest via GPS and reached Chandragiri at around 2:30 pm. Without any delay, we started heading towards Thanakot. After 30 minutes descending to conquer Thanakot, Kathmandu; we had walked nearly eight hours this day.

Overall, this two days trips is one of the best experience of my life and unforgettable one of journey. This trips makes us realize that happiness, fun and joy is inherited in travelling. We really should travel as much as we can. I was time and again reminded of what our beautiful country offers.
